Blind Lemon Jefferson played these corners in the 1910s. Leadbelly followed him from street to street. Alex Moore said there was a piano in every shack and alley. Buster Smith influenced everyone who influenced everyone. The Sons of Hermann Hall hosted folk legends. Trees and Club Dada launched the '90s alternative scene. Erykah Badu, Norah Jones, and Roy Hargrove all attended the same Dallas high school. This tour connects the musical landmarks that prove Dallas shaped American sound.
